    Lantern Tour of Lindenwald

    From among the shadows visitors will have a glimpse of Lindenwald, President Martin Van Buren’s mansion, in the dimming twilight. Reservations are required. 518-758-9689. 7pm

    Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Tours

    Tours of the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse by Emily Brunner, a woman who actually lived in the lighthouse in the 1930s and 1940s. She will tell stories about her life at the lighthouse and of her father who was light-keeper until it closed.

    Hillsdale Pumpkin Festival

    3rd Annual Hillsdale Pumpkin Festival featuring live music, face painting, pumpkin carving, food, bake sale and much more. 12-4pm

    Hudson Valley Bounty Chili Contest

    For 7 years, Chili lovers and talented chili chefs have joined together in a tent located on the banks of the Hudson River to compete for your vote for the best Chili recipe. 12-4pm
