    174th Columbia County Fair

    Plenty of fun for the whole family with nightly grandstand entertainment, midway filled with rides and games, agricultural activities, and vendors.

    Festival of Books

    Featuring a giant used book sale, two days of readings and book signings by nationally known and local authors, and a children’s program. Spencertown, 9am-4pm

    6th Annual Taste of Hudson

    ​Sampling from 20+ eateries/chefs. Rain or Shine, Warren St (between 2nd & 3rd) 11am-2pm.

    7th Annual Barry Hopkins Run

    A 3.8 mile scenic cross country run, primarily on historic carriage roads with a few hills and spectacular views. Olana 8:30am

    Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Tours

    Tours of the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse by Emily Brunner, a woman who actually lived in the lighthouse in the 1930s and 1940s. She will tell stories about her life at the lighthouse and of her father who was light-keeper until it closed.

    Hudson Valley Apple Festival

    A day of old fashioned family fun including a hayride, wacky apple crate derby, wine and craft brew tasting, arts & crafts festival, apple baking contest, car show, live music, food and fireworks. Palatine Park, Germantown 9am-6pm Fireworks at dusk.
