Hudson Harbor Fest

The Harbor Fest takes place on 4 Saturdays beginning on July 31, and continuing on August 7, 21, and 28 from 6:30 to 9:30 at the newly restored Henry Hudson Riverfront Park in beautiful downtown Hudson (located behind the train station, across the tracks from the Amtrak Train Station on Front Street, in Hudson NY).  TSL’s Harbor Fest brings live concerts performed by a wide variety of artists from as far away as Iceland, California, and Japan as well as popular groups from the Hudson Valley, NYC, and Western Massachusetts. The music includes an eclectic sampling of rock, folk, dance, honky tonk, and world music. The Hudson River provides a beautiful backdrop to the evening’s entertainment. It is a great way to spend the midsummer evenings.

July 31:  Bella’s Bartok  - Solo guitarist Yukari Rosa from Japan and Ryder Cooley’s Wreck of the Steamboat Swallow, accompanied by the incredible fusion belly dance group Bleeding Hearts, will share opening spots for Bella’s Bartok, Western Massachusetts’s premier Gypsy Balkan Rockabilly Fusion Party in a Box.

August 7: Hellvar - In town from California, the hardcore band Cosmopolitan will open for the melodic electro-rock Hellvar, all the way from Iceland.

August 21:  Paprika - Hudson’s favorite Bongo Roots will open for the talented Brooklyn world music all female band, Paprika, playing dance music that will bring everyone to their feet!

August 28: Girl Howdy  -  Hudson’s indie sweetheart, Liv Carrow, opens for Western Massachusetts’ fun and fabulous Girl Howdy playing classic honky-tonk tunes from the era spanning the late 1940s to the early 1960s.
