Or exit off Taconic State Parkway 1 mile south of interchange with Route 82
Year-round fishing with sport fish such as chain pickerel; largemouth small mouth and rock bass; bluegill; pumpkinseed sunfish; yellow perch; brown bullhead; the occasional cisco in deeper waters.
The American eel and golden shiner are also found at Lake Taghkanic.
