A 60 acre parcel which includes our 3 acres of vegetable fields, an old apple orchard, an active sugar bush, and a medicinal herb business. The farm is run by Ashley Loehr, Eileen Wallding, and Nicholas Pandjiris, who bring with them over 15 years of farming experience, a wide range of skills and interests, and old fashioned hard working attitudes. In addition to stewarding the land and running the vegetable business, we also host a variety of free educational and community events at the farm.

Roxbury Farm
Roxbury Farm is 1000-member CSA farm on 225 acres along the Kinderhook Creek. One hundred and fifty of these acres are preserved for agriculture in perpetuity; this land can never be developed or sold to a non-farmer. Roxbury Farm was one of the first CSA’s in New York and currently is one of the largest in the country.

Volunteer Requirement: Each member or family is asked to contribute three to four hours of time, helping to set up or clean up the site, delivering leftover food to a pantry, or telephoning other members with reminders. If none of that is possible for you, or if the schedule is full, you can contact the site coordinators for other options. If do not want to participate in the volunteer program, you can pay a $40 fee. In addition there is a member workday on the farm once a month during the season. These workdays allow members to participate in the work of the farm, meet the farmers & other members, walk the land, and visit the U-Pick Gardens for herbs & flowers.

The Farm at Miller’s Crossing
A 200 acre family farm in which 30 acres are used in the production of over 50 different types of vegetables, many of which are heirloom and open pollinated varieties. A greenhouse produces vegetable and flowering bedding plants and a small beef herd and some pigs provide a source of local organic, grass-fed meat.
